Activity Features
The activities are
particularly designed for interactive whiteboards and are structured to allow a
high level of control over both pace and level of difficulty. Because of the
wide range of activities and games and because they’re presented in small self
contained chunks Learning Clips can be easily integrated into virtually any
maths lesson.
The learning clips are were initially conceived to help teachers in the UK teach the renewed
primary framework for mathematics and their development has at every stage been
guided by the experience of practising teachers. The framework breaks down the
learning of maths into many concise objectives that are applicable in any math
curriculum, a fact that brings visitors to the site from all round the world.
The resources are listed by year group and learning
objectives of the renewed framework. For ease of navigation the resources are also listed
by topic.
Learning Clips are delivered entirely online, on demand and run in a web browser (Internet
Explorer 6 or higher) requiring mimimal set up and installation
procedures. They all have the same easy
to use format. The clips consist of, a short introductory video, an
interactive activity and a worksheet.
