To be sure you've given the system a fair trial all you have to do is conduct a minimum of 15 sessions (and a maximum of 25 sessions) during the first 3 months of the rental agreement. A session is a single use of a Learning Clip interactive activity in conjunction with the Learner Response equipment supplied, during which at least 5 answers are received from each of at least 15 handsets. If after trying it out you or your pupils don't enjoy using it, or you don't think it can enhance the learning in your classroom, just complete a short questionnaire and return the equipment to us at any time up to the end of the first 3 months of your rental period.

- Rental of 32 Activexpression Handsets & 1 x Activhub

This option is based on renting, over three years, a standard Promethean Activexpression set comprising 32 handsets and one activhub. The rental is on a fully serviced basis (detailed below) and offers a low risk way to try LC+LR.

- Half day professional installation and training

We know that finding the time to install and get to grips with new hardware and software can be challenging and is often an obstacle to schools adopting technology that could be of real benefit. To overcome this we will spend half a day with each school opting for this package installing it and showing you how it works. Before we visit we will ask you to install and run a small progam on the PC you intend to use the LR on, this is simply to make sure the software is compatible with your school's network and IT systems thus ensure we can maximise the amount of time spent in training.

The package includes a subscription for one teacher to access the LC LR enabled resources for the whole three years of the rental. The resources span the whole of the KS 2 maths curriculum and the equipment is simple enough for any Y3 to Y6 child to quickly understand and use. You can opt to add access for other teachers to these resources for £49 / teacher / year and then share the LR equipment with them. As well as the LR enabled resources you will also have access to all the standard LC interacive activities, worksheets & videos.

- Full set of replacement batteries supplied annually

Depending on how you use your LR equipment (and we think once you get going you'll use it a lot) eventually you'll need to replace the batteries, so every year when we receive your annual payment we'll send you, free of charge, enough new batteries for all your handsets.

- Additional handsets for £12 each PA

The LC + LR system is set up for a maximum of 38 pupils and a standard set of Promethean Activexpresion has 32 handsets so for those whose classes are larger than 32 pupils you can add up to 6 extra handsets for £25 each / year.

- Free broken / damaged handset replacement

Accidents happen and equipment sometimes fails but we don't think this should get in the way of teaching and learning, plus we're pretty confident about the reliability and robustness of the equipment, so if you do have a problem with a handset we'll replace it free of charge. - Option to keep the equipment at the end of the rental period

After 3 years of using the system we don't think you or your pupils will want to be without it and we expect to have a lot of new deals or upgrades to offer by then. But if you're not quite ready to move on then simply pay a £150 administration fee and the equipment is yours.

- Preconfigured for you and your class

To get you started as quickly as possible and to make sure we spend the installation and training session as effectively as possible we can preconfigure the handsets for your class and provide you with a list of which pupil has been allocated which handset. All we need from you are the names (or if you prefer to have an extra level of privacy the pseudonyms) of all the pupils in your class. And if you want to use the System for more than one class then for £15 / class we can configure the handsets for them too.

All the answers generated in class are automatically stored as part of your LC subscription. You can log on to Learning Clip and retreive the results anytime to help with assessment, planning and reporting.
