Bread head is buying his lunch at the canteen. He pays for it with a 50 pence piece, how much change should he get? There are four levels involving one and two step problems.

Triangle Man needs you help to work the lift. Count on or back to press the right button and move the correct number of floors up or down. All the floors below ground level are negative numbers.

The carriages have come off the track but before the train can leave they must be put on in the correct order. Every carriage has a number either positive or negative.They can be dragged on and off to rearrange them if you don't get it right first time.

Use the bowling ball as the decimal point, position it between the numbered skittles to change the place value. Showing tenths and hundredths in decimal notation.

The power boats are ready to start but one of them is missing a number. Use mental addition and subtraction to choose the right number. There are varying  levels of difficulty.

Unpack the balloons to partition a three digit number before subtracting another three digit number. exchange  the balloons between the tens and hundreds columns to complete the subtraction.

Use informal methods to divide two digit numbers, there is a pile of bones to be divided amongst some dogs. Using grouping drag  a quantity of bones to each dog. Watch each step as repeated subtraction on a numberline.

Compare the amount of money shown to the displays on the calculator screens. Click the calculator which uses the correct notation. Practice entering numbers into a calculator.

How far has Zero G hit the golf ball? Read the distance in cm and round it to the nearest 10. On the last level there are two distance to combine to estimate a total.
